Ovarian cancer hits close to home for the Newk’s family. Lori Newcomb, co-founder of Newk’s Cares and wife of Chris Newcomb, Founder and Executive Chairman of Newk’s Eatery, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2013. We honor Lori’s legacy of turning a negative into a positive by advancing her mission to improve early diagnoses for all women. Newk’s Cares brings awareness to ovarian cancer.
